Sophie Calle is a strange individual; the way she expresses herself shows in her work suggests that she is not the typical artist. I find her work humorous and creepy at the same time. Calle is a conceptual artist and the meaning behind her work is very interesting and many people have difficulty in that. She tries to get the viewer to see things in her perspective, in the way she sees life and her art.

| Storing Lovers Secrets |
This portrait was inspired by
Storing Lovers' Secrets series, I enjoyed the style of the frame portrait. The white line represents a lover in her past I wanted to incorporate the white line cause I thought it was cool.

| Where and When 2005/2008 |
The
Where and When portrait was very interesting. Calle was able to capture fantasy I wanted to recreate the same fantasy theme.

This portrait also captures the fantasy feeling as well. This photograph of myself represents that as well with the mosaic background.
