The inspiration behind this portrait is based off of John Stezaker. He’s a collage artist, his work of consists of placing an object one on top of the other or placing it side by side. He would use a picture and add an image that is completely different from the other and create a brand new art piece. For this assignment, I placed three different pictures of myself side by side, similar to Stezaker’s work. The meaning behind my portrait is how each picture represents a stage of my life. Each stage represents my mindset on how I use think and feel; I eventually evolved to the person that I am now.
