The subject of my image is myself among my perception of society, I'm walking among a world where everyone seems to have lost a piece of their humanity, people have become cold and dead towards one another due to selfishness and greed. My image portrays me within a group of ghouls, they're lifeless and they're practically indiscernible. I chose to create this composition due to social media and the news, it portrays people who seem to have no compassion, the world is cold due to human presence. I used various charcoals to create my image along with a blending stump and a kneaded eraser. I believe this project represents me because it depicts my perception of the current world around me and my attitude towards it, the image shows how my surroundings have made my impression of the world more dismal.
