I used my room as an example of "home" because it's where I literally spend most of my time. Whether I'm working on my drawings or playing video games, I enjoy the solitude in my room. Everything within is what I can claim as mine, nor can anyone else within the house control how I organize or place anything there. In addition, when I'm usually in my room, my family tends not to bother me because I'm not within eyesight in places such as the dining room or living room where my family will tend to remember that they wanted me to do something.
