- what is the subject of your image?
- The subject of my image is just showing the two different countries I am from.
- what is the content of your image?
- The content of my image are just a few items that represent each country differently.
- why did you make the choices that led to the composition?
- At first, I had no clue how to represent myself in this project. I haven't really gone through many tragic things. So, I decided to show the different types of food and cultures from the countries on the poster.
- what do you think this image conveys to the viewers?
- This image conveys to the viewers the two different types of lives one can have.
- what artists have influenced your self portrait?
- Frida Kahlo's self portrait along the boarder line between Mexico and the United States influenced my self portrait. Even though they aren't too similar, one can see where I was coming from.
- what techniques have you used to create your self portrait?
- I used paint as well as different stickers to create this self portrait.
- why and how does this project represent you?
- This project represents me because these are the two countries I come from. Even though I live in the United States, I love going to Spain every summer. I basically have two lives.
