| The Chameleon |
A chameleon teaches how to show the true colors of one's self in their environment and in one's sincere emotional nature. Yes, the popular symbolic lesson about chameleons involves always adjust for the sake of blending in (hiding from threat), however, the chameleon expresses themselves by changing colors - which encourages us to utilize every color of the rainbow with a goal to express ourselves creatively. For these examples, and more, I've always considered the chameleon to be my totem animal and a representation of myself.
