Flower series, 1970
Warhol made a collection of ten silkscreen flower pieces which I thought were beautiful. I wanted to use bright colors and create flowers that were similar to his, but in my own way so I created this piece! The piece itself is already bright because of the colors I used, but I adjusted the brightness of it to give it more of a pop art feel and sharpened the image.
