Andy Warhol Inspired

"My fascination with letting images repeat and repeat  - or in film's case 'run on' - manifests my belief that we spend much of our lives seeing without observing." Andy Warhol.
We tend to go through life just seeing things and events happening without taking time to observe them by appreciating everything we see and enjoying each wonderful moment, item or experience. Repeating the images adds value to them. He repeated the dollar bill till it became 15 dollars. We can apply that by the more we take time to value or observe the things or environment around us, the more valuable the become to us.

"...how a woman appears to a man can determine how she will be treated." John Berger
My selfie is a repeated image of me seeing myself through the mirror I use every time I do my make-up which is inspired by Andy Warhol's documentary focusing on the theme of beauty. I feel as much as we love ourselves, we tend to think that there is something that we need to change in our appearance just to be regarded beautiful. If I take time in to make sure I look good and my make-up is great, then I get more attention from men when I go out but when I don't, it's like I'm invisible. Men and society itself pushes females like me to want to change our appearances just to feel accepted. The mirror allows me to see my appearance the way others see me in public.
