The photo I took for the Blog
was inspired by Cindy Sherman and her dark and troubled themed collection. In
the photo I attempt to depict my self as an older man in the 50s at the time of
depression and financial hardship. The man looks as if he had a long day at
work. His buttoned down shirt is unbuttoned. His head hangs low and he is
practically swimming in mail that could amount to debt.
The color I chose for the image
is a cold blue to represent the mellow and aged feeling towards the struggle
seen in the image. I didn’t want to make the image black and white because I believe
the struggle he is going through is not that dark I left the door open and the
light on to prove there is a way out and this is not the end of the road. 
The pictures I was inspired by
of Cindy are shown here are similar because she shows a dark mysterious struggle
that can tell a story but can lead different people to maybe see different
things.
